The International Symposium on Yersinia is a traditional and one of the most influential scientific events for specialists in the field of Yersinia research. The history of the Yersinia Symposia dates back more than 50 years, they are held every three to four years.

The 14th International Symposium "Yersinia 14" will be held in Russia, St. Petersburg, on September 26-28, 2022.
The participants of the Symposium will be presented with reports by leading scientists from different countries on the latest findings from Yersinia research. Young scholars will also be able to share their achievements in this field. The program of the symposium will include plenary and breakout sessions on key fundamental and applied areas of Yersinia investigation. The audience of "Yersinia 14" will be significantly expanded with on-line participants. The Symposium will provide for an informal professional dialogue, which will contribute to the overall success in counteracting the plague - an infection that remains relevant today.
The year 2022 is 100th anniversary of the Sanitary-Epidemiological Service of Russia, and the system of anti-plague institutions celebrates its 125th anniversary. Participants in the Symposium from different countries will have a unique opportunity to get acquainted with operational experience of anti-plague institutions in Russia and other member-states of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The Symposium will be held in St. Petersburg - the "cradle" of anti-plague institutions. They will be able to visit the city of Kronstadt, where the first "Special laboratory for the preparation of anti-bubonic plague drugs" was organized on the territory of the fort "Emperor Alexander I".

Will be held during the poster session presented at the symposium. Only posters with a size of 120 cm horizontally and 80 cm vertically are accepted for the competition. Posters must be exhibited at the stands between 10:00 a.m. 09/26/2022 and 02:00 p.m. 09/27/2022. The presence of the authors during the poster session is obligatory. The results of the competition will be announced on 09/27/2022.
